| Capsizes happen - even to the best paddlers. Knowing how to get back into your boat from deep water will give you confidence in all conditions. We'll talk about dressing for conditions and carrying rescue gear on your boat. Learn and practice proper wet exits and re-entry. Review proper technique for forward, reverse, and draw strokes. We'll learn to rescue ourselves and others with Eskimo, 'T' and paddle float rescues. |

Clothing and Equipment - All participants should dress appropriately for weather conditions and water temperature. Plan on getting wet, and please, no cotton clothing.
